Big Falcons fan here. The argument the team gave against stripes is so bogus. Here’s two versions of virtually the same sleeve stripe pattern — one a new concept (not mine) of an on-field tailored cut and the other a Mitchell and Ness fan-variant throwback replica. I don’t see an issue. Big swing and miss.

On March 4, the Falcons invited me to a Q&A w/ a small group of select local media on March 30 🚨 The goal? Another fascinating insight the Falcons told me (will have more on this later): this whole thing started because of how illegible the numbers were
They have multiple broadcast clips of announcers confusing the numbers, specifically the 1’s & 7’s
So in April 2023, they had their first on-the-record chat about this issue and that convo paired with the NFL’s 5-year rule of no uniform changes led to the eventual overhaul

The silver pants somewhat did go with the black jersey but that still didnt look right. Silver doesn't go with everything
