Sad day for Mad Vincent.
One of my FAVORITE content creator in crypto
and someone who genuinely inspired me when I entered NFT space
just broke my heart.
Not because he farmed engagement.
Not because he posted an L take.
But because it feels like someone I respected
stopped respecting his own standards.
And that feeling is brutal.
The worst disappointment in life
is not when your enemy lets you down.
It’s when someone you looked up to does.
When a random account farm engagement,
nobody cares.
But when someone you considered one of the GOATs of content, research, and education
starts pushing shallow narratives
and farming engagement off a community like @MadLads…
that hits different.
That one hurts.
Because Mad Lads is not some random project people can casually use
for cheap timeline farming just coz its trending topic.
It is one of the most legit, most loyal, most battle-tested,
and most rewarding communities in crypto.
You can criticize it.
You can question things.
You can disagree with decisions.
That’s normal.
But to LARP a broken narrative
without doing the level of research you built your name on?
That’s beneath you.
So I really have to ask:
What happened to the research you were known for?
What happened to DYOR?
What happened to rational thinking?
What happened to checking facts before adding more gas on fire?
Because from where I stand,
this doesn’t look like conviction.
It doesn’t look like analysis.
It doesn’t look like integrity.
It looks like engagement farming.
And that’s what makes this sad.
Not because you came at something I love.
But because I genuinely looked at you
as one of the accounts that set the standard.
You were one of the people I saw as inspiration.
One of the people whose content made me think harder,
dig deeper,
and respect this game more.
So seeing you reduce yourself to this?
That’s the real disappointment.
You didn’t lose me because of one opinion.
You lost me because for a few cheap clicks
and a few Elon dollars,
you traded depth for bait,
research for noise,
and credibility for performance.
That’s what hurts.
You didn’t just miss here.
You let people down
who actually respected you.
And that is far worse than being wrong.

Sad day for Mad Lads NFT holders. Another loyalty hit, and honestly, not surprising. 9/10 times, NFTs tied to non-IP brands and dressed up with “utilities” end up underperforming and disappointing. The only model that actually works is the superfan model built around strong IP development and real community alignment. Chasing anything else is just setting yourself up for a bad surprise.
