It appears that Newsom has known for over a decade how this project would turn out. Why did he continue to push this disaster on Californians? Weeks ago Newsom celebrated the project's success, even though no track has been installed. The current estimated completion time for the entire project is approximately 20 years from now. Last year Newsom sued the Trump Admin for withholding funding for the project.
