@Weggster Whole new meaning to dogging!!! Never did a paper round but worked in a greengrocer's from about 12, lifting 56lb bag of spuds upstairs to be dropped down a chute into the shop, no wonder my bones are buggered.

#AlbumsThatShapedYourLifeTop10 Wham Fantastic I’m sure this was my very first album that I bought. I had a paper round from the age of 13. £3 per week for the morning papers, the evening Hull Daily Mail, the Hull Daily Mail Sports Mail (late Saturday evening) and the Sunday papers. Those Sunday papers used to be horrific back then with the magazines and supplements. Trying to carry those, on a bike, was a challenge. Nothing was more challenging however than the day I was getting off my bike, lugging the paper bag and having a huge but (overly friendly) yellow Labrador mount my leg, and I couldn’t get it off. 😭 🎶No tears, no fears, what I want to be One, two, take a look at you Death by matrimony🎶

My granddaughter has just completed two days of work experience at a hospital in Zurich. She informed me that she is now available to look after me, as she had been working in geriatric recovery. Love my grandkids.

@Weggster I was a first aider when I worked at M&S, got a call from the sales floor saying a man had broke a leg. I grabbed a first aid kit and rushed downstairs, found the man sat on the floor. I asked where it hurt and which leg? His reply it's a prosthetic just help me to my car please.
