I just want to issue a profuse apology for using the anti-dad slur “centrist dad”. I didn’t know until know this was hate speech against a marginalised community. Whatever I can do to make amends with dads, I will do it. This has been a humbling moment for me.

when are we going to have the conversation about this queue being entirely unnecessary. that it’s intentional + performative and that the intricate plans drawn up around queens death could very easily, for example, included some kind of ticketing system to lessen this.

@OwenJones84 And both had very different personalities which may have impacted on how people mourned. Diana was very tactile, emotionally outgoing, the Queen very reserved. People show their respect accordingly. Again to draw any conclusions from this is very blunt to say the least.

@Mikephillips751 A historian would look at lots of different things - from polling to public outpourings of grief following a Royal's death - that how I was trained and to be honest I did ok in my history degree on that basis!
