I genuinely think some of the people in the reply’s don’t know how much playtime 42 hours is. That is 42 hours worth of attempts while playing the level not including the time between deaths and pauses. You don’t get that from just a week or two of playing a level.

@sheeler34846 @maerin_1 Shithead again is too strong of a word. Basically no one who believed zoink didn't prepractice is saying popoff sucks or is sending him hate. It's just unwarranted glaze, which is far from shithead behavior.

It requires a solid grasp of learning and consistency. Acu might be individually harder than all of those, but it is not nearly as mentally challenging

@leonardoluizli1 @shadydoorags The more likely answer: TLOK writers wanted to shy away from the personality stuff, working more toward the idea that airbending is a lost art that korra couldnt pick up quick due to no one really understanding it (except Aang's immediate family). That way, the plot moves forward

@leonardoluizli1 @shadydoorags So I guess I take issue with the fact that Korra's initial characterization suggests she should struggle with waterbeding and not airbending. Yes, she grew up in a water tribe, but the details of personalities with bending were so important originally that I ignore that detail.

One thing I learned from Korra is, growth shows up when it matters. She couldn’t beat the airbending obstacle course, but later figured it out in the heat of a probending match. Trust the process❤️

@leonardoluizli1 @shadydoorags If the circumstances around you prevent bending learning, then it could be understandable, but I think the world goes to great lengths to emphasize that this is not the case. Plenty of times, Aang is captured, but still able to airbend because the mindset beats the circumstance

@leonardoluizli1 @shadydoorags I agree with this take, although I think Korra differs from Aang in that freedom was already a part of her goals from a young age, which could indicate that she shouldn't struggle that much with Airbender (unlike Aang who had trouble with the mindset of standing your ground)

@TokaMG78 I think skillsets come into play for a lot of this stuff. Playing fun Friday I thought it was insane demon difficulty since I play lots of click sync. Looking back, the base gameplay is not easy, it should definitely be extreme.
