@GreatChefBoxing @MadCleve Bam is not a tougher opponent than Nakatani, in fact i think its going to be way easier for Inoue to fight Bam. The height and reach advantage isnt there, Cardenas is bigger than Bam, and Bam’s speed isnt matching up to Inoues.

Immer wieder höre ich, dass die Japaner ein verschlossenes Volk sind und es für einen Ausländer unmöglich ist von ihnen akzeptiert und aufgenommen zu werden. Meine Erfahrungen dabei sind ganz andere. Ich habe das Gefühl von den Japanern akzeptiert zu werden und fühle mich auch nicht anders behandelt von ihnen. Ich habe das Gefühl ein Teil der japanischen Gesellschaft zu sein. Ich denke, dass der Schlüssel auch hier wieder Japanisch ist. Wenn ein Ausländer kein gutes Japanisch kann und in eine Gruppe aus reinen Japanern möchte, dann ist dies schwierig, da die Japaner in der Gruppe nicht mit ihm kommunizieren können. Wenn man sich nicht verständigen kann, dann kann man auch nicht erwarten akzeptiert zu werden. Kann man hingegen sehr gut Japanisch und hält sich an die Regeln, dann sind Japaner total aufgeschlossen, nehmen einen in die Gruppe auf und akzeptieren einen auch. Japaner, wie seht ihr das?

This influencer asked this Texas bbq food truck in Japan to do a collab. Not only did he arrive two days early but he even brought another influencer friend unannounced. He then proceeded to be disrespectful, and spit out the food. His bad review is making the food truck now struggle. I never liked the idea of someone who is expecting free food in exchange for publicity and exposure. It seems rather one sided to me. Many times, the influencer isn’t familiar with the culture and style of food. I feel if he wasn’t used to the flavors and he didn’t like it, he didn’t have to be over dramatic about it and spit it out. He could have just said it wasn’t to his liking. For me he lost all credibility when he said the pork ribs weren’t even Wagyu when earlier it was clear he didn’t know what Wagyu tasted like when he ate the brisket. Wagyu is a breed of cow not pig, so in a sense he was right, the pork rib isn’t Wagyu. I feel he owes them an apology for his entitled behavior. It’s a shame their business is now suffering because of someone like this.

The tourist who threw the rock at the monk seal missed completely. He never hit it. “Almost” isn’t a crime.
Yet Hawaii’s mob is crowning some local “Aloha Ambassador” for confronting and humiliating him like he’s a criminal. This is ridiculous overkill.
Tourists pay good money to visit Hawaii. They’re not punching bags for locals to “educate” with vigilante tactics the second someone does something dumb. The seal is fine- it swam away unharmed. No animal was injured, no laws were broken, just a bad throw on a beach.
Turning this into a viral villain story while cheering on the aggressor is insane. If locals want better tourism, lead with actual aloha instead of FAFO theater and public shaming.
Next time it might be the wrong tourist someone who fights back, and it’ll be completely justified. Actions have consequences both ways.
