Took a stop hunt right near the lows on $SPX today — really sucks in the moment.
Hindsight hits hard when it reverses and rips back up 15 pts: “I should’ve held.”
But imagine if I didn’t have my stop loss and it dropped another -30 pts instead… the damage would’ve been brutal.
Every trade needs a clear plan — defined entry, exit, and risk. Whether it plays out or not is up to the market (we can’t control that). What we can control is risk management and protecting the portfolio.
My plan was simple: if 7470 doesn’t hold, I’m out. It took out the previous low at 7467, so my SL triggered.
Stick to the plan. Live to trade another day. 💪

Took 2 loses today on $SPX about -3K, realizing that I don't have an 'edge' today and tape is not easy to read, walk away for the day, will be back tomorrow. Risk management always come first. $SPY $SPX $QQQ
