Please plan to see Nurse Anne during registration or open house to discuss any health issues. Also, please bring medications your student needs to take during school hours. This includes daily medications, as well as, emergency medications for seizures, allergies, asthma, etc.

If you have not completed online Registration, the computer labs will be open Monday July 31 from 1:00-4:00pm. We still have seats available in PreK for income eligible families. Come complete an application packet.

The School Health Clinic will open Monday,July 24th. Call now (686-3201) to set up an appointment. The School Health Clinic is located at Milan Elementary School.

Important Dates & Information for Pre-K Families (7/31 meeting time has been updated)

MES Registration is set for July 31st from 1:00PM-4:00PM for parents/guardians needing to complete online registration at the school. If you have already completed registration online, there is no need to attend.

Ms. Jean’s Rising 2nd grade campers finished their solar system mobiles and began creating the human body today. Campers have been learning all about cells, tissues, organs, excretory system, and the digestive system during their reading block. #Reading360 #readingmatters

Campers explored STEAM boxes today to create mazes, towers, hockey game boards, and more. Each box contained and activity for campers to use their problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity skills. #milanlife #Reading360 #readingmatters

Rising 3rd grade campers in Ms. Sims’ and Ms. Riggs’ classes observed and documented the types of clouds in the sky today during STEAM. After their observation, students created a a drawing of their weather tool and described how it would work. ##Reading360 #readingmatters

All MES campers enjoyed a visit from Rocky T and Ms. Jennifer Medford from PBS. Campers created a story cube and practiced storytelling with their peers. Students received a free book to help them build their home libraries. #Reading360 #readingmatters #milanlife

Rising 2nd grade campers were both excited and disgusted to work on dissecting their owl pellet in STEAM today. Campers learned about owls and then worked to figures out which animal their owl had eaten by sorting bones on a chart. #milanlife #Reading360 #readingmatters
