Brent Venables is a great guy who works and tries as hard as any coach, and is a proven very good defensive coordinator. But I'm just not sure about him as a head coach.
Brent Venables:
“I want guys that want to be here because they want to put on the crimson and cream. That’s where it starts with me. I believe the guys in our locker room, that they love meeting that criteria. And i believe that firmly.”

16u put in some work this spring/summer, with multiple players having to step up in new roles. Then July, we lose 4 guys; 2 to injury and 1 to 17u squad. No excuses made, guys stepped up and got better. Finishing with a 19-23 record in some very tough events. 📷 @masonjbaugh

16U, ‘25 Miles Winders, 5’10 G has very good iq, h/s level ball handler, shoots the deep ball, gets to the basket, and creates for his teammates. Winders is a solid defender that stays in the moment and with tempo.
