I was critical of the casting too at first, but seeing Paapa in costume and wig, I’m converted. Alan Rickman’s Snape: authoritative, a teacher not to be messed with, powerful Riz Ahmed’s Snape: Petty and vindictive I think Paapa will pull off both aspects of the character.
