25tBSC price range in the run up to Xmas holiday period put at £1 to £1.15kg ex works with export returns lower (95pkg ex after costs). Spot milk is a distressed market and with milk continuing to be dumped price for what is sold ranging 5ppl to 10ppl. 🎄Merry Christmas everyone

25tBSC prices have taken another step lower widening the price range with reports of anything from £1.08 kg to £1.30kg ex works. The outlook for prices over the next 3wks is not great and at some stage deals will be struck sub £1 kg level. Spot milk prices same as previous week.

25tBSC price still trending downwards with main range at £1.20kg to £1.30kg ex works with little benefit from export. Our premium sellers report £1.35kg to £1.40kg while prices next week look to go lower. Spot milk price ranging from 10ppl (distress levels) up to 19ppl (to buy).

How much price warning does the market have to give the supply side over too much milk, before it is realised the long term damage that might be inflicted? A bit more it would seem. At this rate it seems both sides of the market are going to hurt from this downturn in the future.

Serious weakening of 25tBSC prices this week has seen our reported price range widen from £1.25kg up to £1.45kg ex works, with space limited in the UK. Meanwhile breakdowns have dumped more milk onto the market with the spot price range now 9ppl (sell) to 21ppl (buy) delivered.

25tBSC prices are down again with the bulk of trading in the last week reported between £1.55kg and £1.60kg ex works, some loads @ £1.65kg ex with prices expected to move lower this week. Said to be little to no premium gained from export. Spot milk 15ppl (sell) up to 21ppl (buy)

Weakness late in the week has widened the range in 25tBSC trading with butter prices under pressure. Low end of range £1.62 ex works rising to a reported high of £1.78 ex for export. Bulk of the price reports coming in at around the £1.70 ex level with acknowledgement of weakness

Reporting the spot milk market is like trying to fly a kite in hurricane, so imagine what it must be like to physically be in the market and we're only in November! Skim and whole milk is finding its way to AD plants, what is being traded anything from 12ppl (sell) to 21ppl (buy)

25tBSC prices ranging from £1.66kg to £1.75kg ex works for domestic up to £1.82kg for export, most reporting around £1.70/£1.75kg ex level. Not hearing the lows of the previous week for spot milk, price range still not great, 12ppl if forced to sell up to 25ppl if needing to buy.

25tBSC prices under pressure again, trading range put at £1.70kg to £1.82kg ex works, with no reports of better returns for export. Spot milk prices are ugly with no one really wanting milk, the range anything from 7ppl (s) to 23ppl (B) delivered. Unheard of for this time of year

25tBSC stabilised some this week or at last the fall in price has paused. Dom price range this week holding £1.80 to £1.85kg ex works as export returns up to £1.90kg ex equivalent, £1.95kg ex for next week. Spot milk MTR 16ppl (s) 25ppl (B) distressed selling for as low as 10ppl

25tBSC prices down again £1.80kg to £1.85kg ex wks with export around £1.91 ex equivalent on EU dom price circa £2.10 ex equiv. Spot milk prices, simply no one needs the milk, main trading range 18ppl (S) to 25ppl (B) but some distressed loads going for as low as 12ppl delivered.

It is October and the system is awash with milk, some trying to run maintenance shutdowns are struggling to place the milk on any terms. Hence the spot milk price range has widened with distressed loads fetching low as 18ppl to some requiring a top up paying as high as 34ppl del.

Huge amounts of surplus milk around, breakdowns being a nightmare. 25tBSC price range £2kg ex works up to some lucky ones able to get £2.17kg earlier in the week Ave c. £2.03kg ex. Spot milk price dire with few needing to buy ranging 23ppl ( to sell) up to 36ppl (having to buy).

25tBSC prices continue sliding with a trading range of £2.14kg to £2.20kg ex works although, some managing to secure up to £2.25kg ex ahead for next week, maybe prices are hopefully finding some stability. Spot milk prices unchanged from last week 30ppl (to sell) to 38ppl (buy)
