Since I-LAND, Heeseung has always carried higher standards. For him, it’s not enough to just show up, you have to give your absolute best and consistently perform at your peak. He has a clear vision of what a group should be: something that goes beyond the bare minimum and truly stands out in the industry. Real growth isn’t comfortable. It demands discipline, effort, and constant self-improvement. And you can see that in him, he’s the type who would rather walk away than compromise that vision. Not because he’s giving up, but because he knows what he stands for and refuses to dilute it. The reality is, not everyone operates at that level. Some people are content doing just the same thing with no real growth to stay visible or maintain their place. But that mindset will never create something lasting or meaningful. We’ve already seen how things unfolded back in I-LAND when he gave up his position & what happens when a strong artistic vision isn’t shared or supported. Heeseung, on the other hand, moves differently. He recognizes when something no longer aligns with his standards, and he has the clarity and the courage to step away. That’s not weakness. That’s self-awareness. Honestly, he’s just ahead of his time!
