Recently several teams from our IT chapter for SkillsUSA competed in an online Esports competition. Each team had to create a professional portfolio with a team logo, mission statement, branding & marketing plan. Congrats to the teams moving on to compete at State next month!

Our Manufacturing department hosted the SkillsUSA engineering contest at Miller. It was a great success! Good luck to our students heading to the state contest! @KATYISD_CTE

Adulting 101 is in full swing with students learning about home care, filing taxes and the importance of soft skills. Thank you to our Construction teacher, Economics teachers, & our guest speaker Mr. Biehle for taking time to share tips, skills and knowledge in these areas.

Today marks Texas Independence Day, commemorating the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence in 1836. On the same day, we also observe Texas Flag Day, recognizing the adoption of the official state flag in 1839.

Happy Valentine’s Day! This week, we made Heart Suffies. Students enjoyed learning how to use chunky yarn to make a stuffed heart for a loved one. Have a great long weekend, Tigers! 🐯❤️

We had a fantastic turnout for our High School Preview Night, welcoming close to 1,500 students and parents to our campus! Our students and staff enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing information about the CTE programs we offer. Thank you to all who were able to visit Miller!
