This really *shouldn’t* be a hot take, but NC and GA Sen are both going to be close races. People who think Cooper or Ossoff will win by 5+ simply don’t understand southern politics. NC and GA are both highly inelastic states at the federal level. And unlike Midwestern conservatives, Southern conservatives are reliable voters who show up every cycle, so Dems can’t count on a big turnout advantage bolstering their numbers. At most, these are both D+3ish races. But in all likelihood they’ll be more like D+1 or 2, with probably around a 40% chance 1/2 goes red.

Ukraine is deeply fractured internally. There’s Azov (neo-Nazis), Eurostooges (Zelensky), and traditional vs civilians in military leadership. Intense debates over conscription (grabbing young men in the streets), INSANE scales of corruption (pocketing billions the West funnels), war tactics (drones vs artillery), and negotiations (stalemate vs we will win).
There’s also those who’re eyeing for the presidency and trying to use the war as an opportunity to undermine Zelensky so that they take power next once martial law is lifted.
