@nikegal7 Yep. I’ve known many PTs who finished with heat and Estim always simple bc “pts like it.” They usually had the best “metrics” in the company

My Friday epiphany (on Saturday): A lot of the struggles in the insurance-based PT model come from one harsh truth… Patients like low value treatments. I said what I said.

@TheEDDPT I would say we need specific training in the application. Students/clinicians running through cases/scenarios/etc. We are absolutely qualified and have the skills; sometimes we need to be shown how those skills fit into certain arenas.

@MillerTyler As someone who is in academia (correct me if I'm wrong), what changes do you feel are warranted? Ask doctors of PT I feel like we are ready and qualified.

I am almost 32. I have a 12yo stepdaughter, a 5yo, and a 2.5 yo. I am *overwhelmed.* I always thought I wanted more kids, though. I’m wondering if when my 2.5yo is 4 or so, I’ll feel like I have the capacity for 1 more. But is it hard to start all over?

Deconstruction from studying theology happens when you get to the roots of the arguments and find out you disagree with God. Then instead of repenting you reshape God to fit in a framework you find palatable.
