@charleshoppes This is how I felt getting marked by Danny Clark in break mark drills. I usually find it easy to find the open window against big guys, but DC was just so quick. All I had was high backhand over his shoulder. Everything else was locked up.

look I’ve been washed for years, and I was never great at breaking the mark. but the most humbled I’ve ever been in ultimate is when I played a just-for-fun breakmark drill against Jeff Babbitt a few years back. he handblocked 7 of 8 attempts. it’s not even what he’s known for.

also we were told if Boston had tied it, the game would have ended in a tie because they didn’t book the stadium for long enough to accommodate overtime. Middle school soccer started a few minutes after the game finally ended.

one time in Boston we won by 1 at the buzzer. we did the handshake line. fans came on the field. the stadium employees took away the cones. people were in the locker room decleated. 10 minutes went by. & THEN the refs decided there was a foul on the throw. made us all come back.

every UFA game in Boston is like this. the refs blow calls and cause confusion constantly, the camera shots that make it on screen regularly miss the outcome of hucks, and the scoreboard in the stadium shuts off once a game or so. the worst viewing experience in the league.
