Miller's Grand Opening on 501 W 6th Street, where we moved in 1969 and stayed for 45 years! The classic 60s dress code make this a great photo for Throwback Thursday. From day one, we've been serving Austin with the same passion, quality, and pride. Grateful for every step of the journey and every person who's been part of it. millerids.com/austin-printin… #atx #austin #texas #printing #throwback #ᴛʙᴛ

Miller Imaging Featured Artist: Jesse Sublett has been influential force in Austin culture since the late 1970s, when he was a founding member of The Skunks and The Violators, Austin’s first two punk bands. Many of the first punk gig flyers in Austin featured Jesse’s graphics, an outgrowth of his adolescent ambition to become a famous cartoonist and poet. We helped add color to the Open Door Preschool event with this stunning custom fabric backdrop. Their design had incredible color that elevated the photographs. We love bringing visions to life—one elegant panel at a time. Who's ready to make their next event unforgettable? millerids.com/signs-graphics… #atx #austin #texas #opendoor #banners

Throwing back Thursday all the way to the 1940's. Here is an open house ad from over 70 years ago. The face on the stick figure is our founder, John D. Miller. He moved to this location on 10th Street where we stayed until 1969. My favorite line from this ad is "Next to the Bus Station." Back in the day, the bus station was the hot spot! Robert Miller was known to join his friends there for a cup of coffee. It's actually the spot where the Miller Blueprint calendar was dreamt up with his buddies Don Collins, Jack Wilson and Dwain Kelley. The calendar continues to this day. millerids.com #atx #texas #austin #printing #throwback
