Port Vale lost £6.1m in 24/25, when the club finished 2nd in League Two. That works out at £117,000 a week...in League Two. This takes total losses to over £17m from when the company that currently owns teh club was formed in 2014 The club's losses were underwritten by a £19.6m loan from owners.

My Companies House update alarm has just pinged at 2am. The frightening increase in losses in lower league football continues. Burton Albion, historically one of the best run clubs in the EFL historically, has gone from a £1.3m loss to a £8.3m loss after acquisition by Nordic Football Group in June 2024. The club finished 20th in League One. 🔑 figures ⚽️Revenue £6.4m (no change) ⚽️Wages £8.2m ⬆️ 53% ⚽️Wages £122 for every £100 revenue (2024 £84) ⚽️Employees 315 ⬆️ 73 ⚽️Management charge from owners £1.3m (2024 Nil) ⚽️Amortisation £727k (⬆️ 385%) ⚽️Loss £8.3m ⚽️Player purchases £1.18m ⚽️Player sales £267k ⚽️Borrowings £10m (⬆️ 525%) Loans are from owner who wrote off £8.7m of the loan late in 2025

If we did need more proof that Sky Sports dont give a sh*t about supporters who actually go to games and provide them with a wortwhile product (as coverage through covid proved). They have moved Wimbledons game at Home to Northamton from a Saturday to the Sunday despite being informed and asked not to in September by Wimbledon due to an Internationsl fans day as it would cost fans money in flights and hotels. Also they have moved it to a day when there are no trains from Northampton. Our Tuesday game home to Blackpool now has to be moved to Wednesday which has upset Blackpool fans who have already made arrangements to stay in London for that game. Well done Sky how to upset and alienate three sets of fans by your shere arrogance and incompetence. You are complete wa*kers.

This is my mum, Carol. The lady with the sweets in the West Stand. She always had something to hand out to the people around her before kick-off. She died, peacefully, this morning. I used to look down from the press box and see fans taking care of her. It was beautiful. #rufc
