I love the IF and the #IOTA fam but… ⏳IOTA in development 7/8 years. ⏳Q video came out over 6 years ago. Yet still no smart contracts on the mainnet? Why? Nearly a decade and tens of millions of pounds spent. This is the most basic feature required for any Web3 ecosystem. It should be feature number one. It’s embarrassing that we have been spending soo much time being “Multichain” with side projects such as #Shimmer and #Assembly and yet the main chain can’t even walk yet. Then these side chains slowly fail and we are left with nothing on the mainnet still but we pay the price for these projects with inflation on the mainnet. There are too many yes men in the IF thinking every idea is a good idea instead of just focusing on getting the most basic features right first. Make sure you can walk before you can run.
