@poloconghaile Hi Pol. We will not reopen on Dingle Harbour to the general public until 2021, we are strictly offering the entire waterfront property to extended family groups on staycations until then. To open as normal just wouldn’t be worth it. :(

Kerry's Dunloe and Ard na Sidhe hotels will not reopen until 2021. Do you know of any other hotels or restaurants making the same call?

@adriancummins @RAI_ie @Failte_Ireland This is so bewildering. At our sister hotel in the Swiss Alps, Hotel Oberland, guests have been dining happily for weeks behind common-sense perspex screens, hard to even notice them

Update The @RAI_ie received DRAFT @Failte_Ireland reopening guidelines last evening - 98% finished NO MOVEMENT on 2m rule @RAI_ie have a question on use of screens (not in the document) @RAI_ie believe 90% of Restaurants won't be able to viably reopen based on guidelines

@sodomhnaill34 Hi Sean, we have ‘got the last 2 weeks in July’, Hotels can open on July 20th with restrictions. But no one has told us what the restrictions will be. Most small Irish hotels/B&Bs will likely stay closed and await the rescue grants, or bankruptcy, whichever comes first

@mistereatgalway We reopened our Swiss sister-Hotel Oberland a week ago to record numbers & common sense restrictions. Milltown House, our beloved hotel on Dingle Harbour lies gathering cobwebs (& debts). The difference is mindblowing

The closure of the Galway market this afternoon because of Social distancing is ridiculous. Every shop and supermarket I have been has had people too close together. And the market is outside.... 🤔 Are the guards going to inspect every Tesco next and shut it down?

@LucindasIreland Hi Lucinda, the absolute absence of government reopening guidelines/regulations and financial assistance (cumbersome loans at commercial rates are not assistance) will hasten many more closures! Our Swiss sister Hotel is fully operational and financially assisted by Fed Gov

So sorry to hear that Little Fox in Ennistymon will not be re-opening. They certainly made their mark in Clare and I wish them all the best. Little seasonal restaurants are suffering and so vulnerable.
