I think Nolan Ryan used to help bulldog the cattle on his ranch. He was a freak, and just unnaturally strong. This guy was throwing high 90s, sometimes >130 pitches a game, but to my knowledge never had a serious arm injury. I think his biggest problem as he got older were his legs. Hammies and quads let him down!
