This 'not my job' syndrome is going to end up reducing UX designers to wireframe makers who sit and make rectangles in Figma all day.

Part of being a new employee in an organisation is to sit through endless meetings where you probably had no business to be present.

Documentation of the requirements, processes etc. is an immensely important part of your job. More so in UX Design. It helps the new team members get quickly ramped up.

If we are designing for a niche user group with homogenous preferences, it's a good idea to spend time understanding their culture and what they value the most. 2/n
