My mentor is a great trader. Aggressive when he needs to be. Patient when the market demands it. He understands his edge, his psychology, and his risk tolerance better than anyone else can. But I never take his trades. Not because I don't trust him. Because I understand that if his trade hits stop loss, the loss is mine, not his. Different account sizes. Different risk tolerance. Different emotional pressure. Different personalities. The goal was never to copy his trades. The goal was to learn how he thinks. That's where the real value is.
