THERES A GENOCIDE HAPPENING IN LEBANON RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!
sarah@sahouraxo
Israel just blew up a public high school in Marwahin, South Lebanon. Not a military base. A school.

@maranellosaint On the other hand, it also shows how the world is still a passive witness to everything that is happening. The way it's obvious nothing is going to be done about it, and only the person itself will gain anything at all. It's our fault in this too, how we handle things
English

@Mimzi03 and message will only remain a message and not tangible action because there will be no steps taken to enforce it beyond a controversial moment that doesn’t stem from any concrete plan or desire for change but attention-seeking that will only devalue the actual voices for change
English

every time polish politicians go viral for saying smth anti-israel i have to be like guys pls they’re not pro-palestine they’re WILDLY antisemitic right wing nutjobs 😭 they dgaf about palestine they’re just happy to have an excuse to scream hatred at all jewish people
maja@missswiatekfan
he didn’t do it because he supports Palestine, guys. the party he belongs to literally hates everyone besides white polish conservative men. he only did that because he hates jews and he’s not some cool woke politician
English

@maranellosaint I see your point here, though. We have the same goal, but we are both idealistic in our views. You want someone reasonable to bear the news to the world, and I want only the cause to be looked at. Both out of reach sadly
English

@Mimzi03 also using people like him to bring attention ultimately brings more harm than good because it aligns an anti-israel stance with racist, homophobic etc rhetoric and legitimises the zionist defence of anti-zionist = anti-jewish
English

@maranellosaint I doubt people will remember his name, but I'm sure they will remember the demonstration. People talk about Palestine, but Palestine keeps suffering, and the world keeps tip toeing around the cause as much as the Polish government does too. It's heartbreaking and frustrating
English

@Mimzi03 people talk about palestine without him there’s really no need for this involvement and he brings more attention to himself than to the cause
English

@maranellosaint Then let's not give a platform to the person and the party, but let's use the clout to talk about Palestine. Once Israel's monstrocities are handled, we can focus on particulars as such because compared to the literal holocaust2 happening on our eyes, it's really not a priority
English

@Mimzi03 well no because we shouldn’t be giving these insane people a platform that they can utilise to inevitably spew nonsense
