More talk on Hyperliquid mobile app needs today. Some thoughts here, curious if others think otherwise: Data is not fully available, but closest I see is that roughly 60% of Binance users are mobile first. This data can be semi-confirmed by comping with Coinbase, which in Oct 2025 had roughly 58% of users coming from Coinbase mobile. To this point, Hyperliquid has outsourced the mobile question to builder code apps. This has led to a great opportunity for multiple of these apps, but I remain semi-concerned no app is as HL-aligned as HL itself. Once it's in the app’s favor to do so, that app can begin routing flow anywhere, leaving a lack of customer relationship and stickiness with Hyperliquid if HL isn't controlling the mobile side itself It’s because of this mobile could be a key area for HL in 2026. Retail has been the backbone of perps to this point; if retail flows elsewhere due to growth of mobile / mobile apps directing flow to venues where they have backroom deals etc... A counter argument here is that mobile users just are not as valuable as desktop/pro/pro-sumer users, which could be the case. Seems too risky of an assumption to make, though, based on the early traction of builder code apps and the percentage of onchain trading shifting to mobile-first apps. Another counterargument is that Hyperliquid Labs is not a team that is structured to build a retail mobile app / should remain an infra-first team and let builder code apps handle the retail-facing mobile end of distribution. Is it time for evolution? Or are my concerns about builder code apps directing flow elsewhere due to backroom deals unfounded?
