How did this happen? A few months ago I was making candles. Today I'm coordinating aircraft. And I just accepted an opportunity in a vibecoding startup. At this point, my career strategy is just curiosity and reckless optimism.

I like my job. I just don't like where it leads. Being surrounded by planes, people from all over the world, having real responsibility, learning something new every day... that part is great. But the future it offers scares the shit out of me. I won't be able to afford a place of my own, travel whenever I want, or build a family one day if this is as far as I go. I refuse to live paycheck to paycheck. I just don't want "good enough" to become my future.

Sometimes the opposite of burnout isn't rest. It's creating something. Doesn't have to be a startup. Crochet counts too.
