Mixed results from yesterday. The 1s lost by 7 wickets at home to Langford. The 2s won a low scorer away to Tetbury, MCC defending just 104ao for a 7 run win. Pleasingly the club fielded eight U18 players yesterday as we continue to push the youngsters in 2025 💪

Sadly both teams suffered defeats at the weekend. The 1s made 148 chasing an imposing 237 at home vs Sheepscombe, Jim Gant hitting 57 along the way. In the 2s despite a fine bowling display MCC sadly couldn’t chase down 157. James Holmes with 3-26 the highlight. We go again!

Wins for 1s and 2s yesterday as we finished the league season. The 1s finished 6th in GCCL Division 5 and the 2s finished 7th in the SDCA Division 1. We of course celebrated with our traditional curry night! #mightyminch
