Homeless Statistics, March 2026 The number of people in emergency accommodation rose again last month to 17,517, an increase of 209 on February's figures. According to the Department of Housing, there were 11,946 adults and 5,571 children homeless last month. Child homelessness is up 19% in the year since March 2025.
