Landship blockout... very ugly, but it should give a good clue for one of the gameplay modes :D Couldn't get the idea out of my head since 'Big Wars' (1993)... not a great film, but I sure loved those naval-scale tanks!

@UBadler Yeah like the other things I have ingame right now; i rig in Blender then set up a procedural IK rig, record directional motion animation in UE, bake to VAT for swarm units and keep the IK for player-controller hero units :)

Feeling a bit uninspired, but it'll do for now I guess! Staying cheap at 13k tris, thinking this'll be at the next scale of bigness, ~16m or so. Am I too cheap using 128-512px textures on my smaller unit parts? Time will tell I guess :P

@MoonWalkerLD Haha well I might have to do a higher rez pass anyway for mechbay closeups, don't have to have loaded for gameplay though ^_^ good to stay thrifty though if I want all modes playable on lower-end hardware!

@MindForge9 Panel lines already sell the scale nicely. I wouldn't call those texture sizes cheap, just efficient I'd say. No sense wasting memory on unseen pixels anyway :P
