Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8

This is an incredible piece of work by @JonathanPieNews. From the research, to the sequencing, to the performance. You want to know why so many people are turning away from vapid MSM and looking to political comedy & alternative news? Look no further. 👇

@JuneOSullivan @earlyyears Young children do not need schools!! They need to be valued and respected for being young children! This is the MOST important time in their LIFE! Investing in ‘schooling’ them is NOT the answer! Investing in early years is! Play and relationship based early education above all

The fragility of life is so shocking. I’ve known Michael Mosley for many years - as a tv producer specialising in science and medicine. He was the executive producer of my 2009 series Human Journey. When he started presenting as well as producing, we made several science programmes together. And we met up at Hay Festival just 2 weeks ago. I can’t believe he’s gone. My thoughts are with his bereaved family.

Dr Michael Mosley He taught us about the importance of wellbeing and taking care of ourselves And now he’s teaching us how short life can be, and how easily it can be taken from us In his memory let’s embrace each day & strive to live our best lives fully (and healthily)

@MindNurturing It really is as simple as that, Jude - the government has the money. It chooses to spend it elsewhere. Because all we do is ''look after children'' & we are but simple beings, with no skills or value. Fact check: our sector is the backbone of this society. Invest NOW or pay later

High staff turnover in the EY creates instability in the very environment designed to create stability, consistency & nurturing relationships that infants & children NEED to ensure healthy brain development. High time the government invested in our invaluable sector.

"They have to be made accountable, we can't have parents being blamed for societal ills." After it was said that staff turnover is 'traumatising' children, neuroscience expert @MineEYMind tells @PaulBrandITV the government is not doing enough to support the childcare sector.

"The evidence is clear. Ofsted has lost the trust of the teaching profession, and increasingly of parents. There is now an opportunity for transformational change.'' Amen to that. Hopefully we'll be bidding @Ofstednews goodbye sooner rather than later. bbc.co.uk/news/education…
