Zhipu AI today open-sourced its next-gen image generation model co-developed with Huawei. The GLM-Image, the first SOTA multimodal model trained entirely on domestic chips, was trained based on the Ascend Atlas 800T A2 devices and the MindSpore AI framework. It is particularly adept at Chinese character generation tasks, costing only 10 Chinese cents (1 US cent) per image. @Huawei
