need to drive a bunch of seven segment displays? You can literally TIME multiplex them at a fast enough frame rate and use way fewer pins. You just turn them on in sequence! That's it! It's just 7+n pins instead of 7*n.

Pyrite is a natural Schottky diode.

Do you think they wanted to take the lead out of paint because that worked the same way as tinfoil hats and Faraday cages, and they needed to see inside our houses? I mean bc who was eating paint

@MrPitbull07 These aren't laser thermometers. The laser is simply for aiming. The measurement is done by infrared, and unless you adjust for the emissivity of the object (color really matters), the accuracy of these things is terrible. The decimal point makes you think they're accurate.

My wife purchased this laser thermometer to test the wax melt thingy pictured. Since acquiring this dull device, my life feels like it has been missing something. @DanielBogdanoff Mine has a high-tech neon indicator built right into the switch! A quick glance after switching off the lights indicates its status.
