On this ADC leadership debate, there clearly isn’t enough time to even drag the issue to the Supreme Court (where the INEC decision can still even be upheld). The primaries are next month, and things have to be in full gear before then. My Advice (even though no one asked me): Move to that Dickson Seriake’s party. The NDC (Nigeria Democratic Congress), and do proper registrations there. It’s a major setback, but not one that is irreparable. Nigerians want to vote the person, not party. I honestly would have suggested a negotiation with Nafiu Bala, but I don’t think there’s anything they can offer him now, that the ruling party can’t outbid to frustrate the clearly dreaded opposition. Negotiating with someone that has the whispers of Nyesom Wike all over his ears, might be futile. Nigerians await!!!

The problem is, judiciary will be frustrating the appeal from aggrieved members.
Even the Electoral act 2026 and supreme Court has ruled that any internal polical disputes should be resolved by the internal affairs not court jurisprudence.
But because Nigeria don't obey rules of law, that's why we are here.

Fashola was ruthless and sacked the striking doctors in Lagos. Maybe it would have been better if Obi had sacked them, than allowing them to strike for 13months.

The Atiku Abubakar led coalition lacked strategy. They should have ensured the ADC held a Special National Convention to dissolve the Ralph Nwosu led National Executive Committee and install a David Mark led Caretaker National Committee. This approach would have prevented their current troubles. The method used to transfer power from Nwosu to Mark was both controversial and undemocratic.

The judge did not grant any restraining order. The ex-parte motion failed the moment the judge ordered the plaintiff to put the defendants on notice.

They should have filed processes in vehement opposition to the motion and the substantive suit. But the legal team decided to file an interlocutory appeal against the order to show cause.
It’s unusual. It’s untidy to me.
I hope they’ve returned to the Federal High Court to address the pending suit. If they choose to further appeal to the Supreme Court, it’ll be more problematic for them.
