@maddiemoate @CardiffCurator @Rockspotter1 A few others have already mentioned this but the regular ridge pattern suggests that it may be part of an ammonite shell, or maybe part of a bivalve(?). This would also fit in with where you found it. Always hard to give definitive answer for a small sample!
