got really bored of this one but spent an extra hour on the sketch, i still think the waist has issues, and i wish i made the hair darker. in total this took me around 4 hours? I think. i need to do more anatomy studies because i find anything that isnt a portrait difficult

@Generic_user102 Haha thank you so much ☺️ I like the colours a lot but I wish I didn’t make the torso so long 😅 hope it isn’t too noticeable, probably should have made the drawing look more like Kaori too, I didn’t use a reference for some strange reason 😭

I feel like if I were to just put an extra hour or two (or god forbid: three) into any drawing it’ll come out so much better, I don’t know what my obsession with efficiency is all about. I give up too easily

@Dahnu_ Aaaa but you’re so consistent 😭 I think my main struggle is that I’m regularly giving up before I let a drawing get to a good point, past a sketch with colour under it, I’ll have to unlearn my habits 🙂‍↕️

@nosferatu_them Hmmm that’s an interesting idea, I’ve never had more than one drawing going at a time before 🤔

@MiniMinstil i was kinda like that too but i started making paintings that couldn't be finished in an hour so i had to work longer on them what works for me is to have one "bigger" project that i work on regularly, even if it's just 20min every other day, while still making some quick doodles

@Res2_02 That’s so much pressure 😭 I’d be terrified, I don’t think I could ever do commissions unless it was on skeb so people can’t be all mean and bossy

@MiniMinstil Most my drawings never pass 2 hours in total, except commission ones, because I need to stop at each part to discuss with the client. Maybe you can try opening commissions for fun ✨✨
