School will operate on its regular schedule today, Thursday, May 16th; however, bus transportation may be delayed due to dense and patchy fog on the east side of the district.

Due to dense fog, all Mt. Vernon schools will be on a two-hour delay on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Mt. Vernon Schools will have an eLearning day on Friday, January 19 due to slick roads with very little treatment. Snow will continue for the next few hours and temperatures will continue to drop. The Mini-Marauder Preschool will be closed.

With the National Weather Service issuing a windchill advisory for Hancock County that is expected to be below -10 degrees tomorrow morning, MVCSC will be on a 2-hour delay for Wed., Jan. 17. There will be NO Early Release Wednesday and schools will dismiss at the regular time.

Due to severe cold conditions, MVCSC will be on a two-hour delay for Tuesday, January 16.

All Mt. Vernon Schools will be on a 2-hour delay for Friday, September 29. These decisions will always include our preschool as well.

Just a friendly reminder, on Wednesday, September 20, MVCSC will have a 2-hour early release per our academic calendar.
