Baseball Fun Fact : Cole Hamels last game with the Phillies was a no hitter against the Cubs at the Cubs. Then a few years later he would pitch for the Cubs against the Phillies at the Phillies.😵‍💫

Another random baseball memory I have is seeing Cole Hamels throw a complete game 5 hit shutout against the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia in 2008. (picture not from game)

When I was watching the 2016 World Series I saw a player on the Cubs (Kyle Schwarber) who I thought looked like a player who used to be on my team the Phillies (Joe Blanton). Years later that same Cubs player would play on the Phillies. Funny how things work out sometimes.

Spent a little time in a time warp this AM inside the still beautifully intact former Izod Center. Same signs, same lockerrooms, the forgotten New Jersey Sports Hall of Fame plaques still on the concourse, same press room with plates of outlets long gone, same scoreboard. Too many wonderful surprises to list in the place where among other things, the last "arena" #FinalFour was held. It is like time stopped.
