I’m crying bro this dude sounds like Vergil

I think the answer to this depends a LOT on personal beliefs/spirituality (I promise this comment isn’t going to say what you think it is) if you are religious or believe in an afterlife/reincarnation, death is understandably scary, but it may help to know the final moments of those who die of natural causes are often peaceful and serene. (Look into studies involving scanning the brain activity of dying patients for some reassurance). if you aren’t religious, though, and believe death is where it ends forever, I have even better news for you! It’s honestly one of the least scary things in the world. Let me explain: Think of a dreamless sleep. I know that sounds cliche, but genuinely try to remember a night where you’ve fallen asleep and experienced *no* dreams or disturbance whatsoever. It feels like you never slept at all, right? You closed your eyes, then there was a blip of complete *inexperience* so fast, you had to rationalize the passage of time from the context of waking up. Death is like that. It *can’t* be scary, because in death you won’t have the capacity to be scared. Were you afraid before you were born? Of course not, it’s a silly question to even ask. There is no *you* to be afraid, so you have nothing to fear in death. That answers the question in your tweet, but this is touching on a much greater problem that I’ve put a lot of thought into, so I’ll leave another reply to this one if you’re interested. I hope this helped!

After ???? years of worldbuilding, I have finally written the first 200 words of my novel 😎
