@vis_sou @AboutMusicYT I don’t understand that, it’s odd. Why not support the group and every member solo work? It makes no sense because at every point in time all groups do venture into solo work. The group is still together. People are acting like they are disbanding.

@MintyRafat @AboutMusicYT I'm afraid things won't be as peachy. Kpop group fandoms tend to be weird about their group members' solo careers. Case in point: blinkeu (who are very loud & obnoxious in the comments here, but so often shaded solo activities of the non-Korean member they don't want to succeed).

Jihyo of TWICE will reportedly part ways with JYP Entertainment after 21 years and pursue her individual activities independently while remaining a member of TWICE.

I hope people realise even if all nine members sign the group contract, we will be getting almost no OT9 content. It’s essentially impossible to align schedules when there are 5-6 different agencies at the same time.
We might get one comeback every few years and that’s about it. I doubt we will get TTT or 2wice dates.

@saintsardines I don’t think ezrela wanted to be apart of this group, she could have and would have likely been there if that was the case. She’s very popular and HXG see that.

@xoPinkHoneyxo Also, once have had 11 years worth of constant content. There's twice content some of us haven't watched or seen, that's how much they've given. Its unfair to keep on wanting more from the group, or to stay at JYPE until forever. Change will happen

@xoPinkHoneyxo They can't because of the military service, that's what is keeping the activities at a halt. Twice won't have that problem. They still came back twice and gave fans all they could. They often give content when they are together as well. Their bond is strong.

Got7's group activities were limited due to 4 members going to the military. Other than that they are active as much as they could be (they had two comebacks and concerts in Korea/Thailand). This doesn't apply to Twice who doesn't need to go to the military

I know I’ve said that I’ve already accepted this, and I mean it. I trust the girls. but there’s one thing that’s been on my mind ever since the first contract renewal. seeing a tweet about group activities reminded me of it, so consider this a subtweet. my only concern is what happens if they sign with different agencies for their solo careers. even though I wasn’t a GOT7 fan, I saw how their group activities became much less frequent after leaving their company. as ONCEs, we’re not used to that. we’ve been incredibly spoiled with albums, tours, fan meetings, variety content, and constant OT9 content. realistically, if they do sign with different companies, things probably won’t be as simple as they are now. every cb, tour, schedule, ads, or even a simple OT9 appearance would require multiple agencies to coordinate. different contracts, priorities, schedules, and terms would all have to align. it’s definitely possible, but it would make everything more complicated. I just don’t want them to end up like some groups that are still technically together but rarely get to promote or appear as a complete group because of contract limitations and scheduling conflicts

@dahyuncsl Be grateful they aren't disbanding, or even giving fans lacklustre content/music. Every group can't be together the same way like in the rookie days, people grow older and life happens. They are one K pop group who has given fans so much already.

@galiemoglow02 @howtofait Plus it's nothing compared to what Sana, Nayeon, Momo and Mina got. Jihyo didn't even get much either, her solo wasn't promoted well and she only started to get collabs and promo last/this year.

@galiemoglow02 @howtofait What you mentioned only happened years later after TWICE peaked in popularity, and it happened after the 7 years contract renewal. That's a long time. And even after getting those things it's still minimal. You didn't mention Jeongyeon who got little.

if we're being honest, jeongyeon, dahyun, chaeyoung and tzuyu were never jyp's favorite
even jihyo only got better opportunities lately but never really in the past
