While the wait for Kingdom Hearts 4 and news in general has been draining. I’m glad that I’ve also branched out to other long running JRPGs series like Tales of and now Trails. If any other KH fans haven’t tried them out yet. You really should while waiting this drought out.

It just sucks that if Kingdom Hearts 4 isn't the greatest RPG of all time when it drops, it's gonna get cooked so hard for the time we've waited. Which sucks because Kingdom Hearts 3 was in the exact same position. The only difference is that the industry cared about KH3.

@MiraLimit The wait was much more manageable back then because we had at least an interview or a trailer to look forward to every year

Mind you, the only news we got in the last 4 years regarding the Kingdom Hearts series was: - Two mobile game betas - The cancellation of said mobile game - Damage control screenshots - Merch sales because we're cattle This isn't even doomposting anymore, it's truthposting.

@NighrW Another thing is that the remake of 1st uses a fusion of Cold Steel and Daybreak's gameplay, so if you wanna see a natural evolution of the series, I'd play in release order. If you don't care about all that, play the remake.

@NighrW It's best to start in the "Liberl Arc" which is the kingdom that Trails in the Sky's trilogy takes place in. You can either play the original, which is like 20 bucks, or the remake which is 60 (however, you'll be waiting for remakes lmao)

Like, people compare the wait for Kingdom Hearts 3 to this current drought, but the difference is that we weren't waiting 4 years for a single trailer, and we were fed various interviews, screenshots, trailers, 2.8, etc.

For a good month, you'll have people playing KH4 singing its praises it deserves. Then, after you'll have the "was it worth the wait?" talk after the honeymoon phase is over. I think the game will be 🔥 still, but it's sadly in a spot, where if it isn't peak gaming, it's cooked
