I'm sooooo frustrated with the Healthcare system rn, really hoping I don't have to spend over a month in severe pain just to run more tests and actually get help.

@Mother_Duckie I'm so sorry that this is happening and I hope that things improve soon. I never liked toxic positivity either, people are allowed to feel upset with things.

Just a reminder that you are crossing the line from positivity to toxic positivity when you know someone is losing their home and their pets of many years and you tell them they need to be positive. #1 YOU don't get to determine how someone should present themselves when they are in such a situation. #2 This situation will not change just by being positive, while I am doing everything I can and not letting the sadness stop me from taking all the steps I possibly can to change this situation, even the actions may not help me out in time. #3 When you could be supportive and just acknowledge that what I am going through isn't ideal, telling me to "be positive" just shows how much you don't understand. I get that some people just don't know what to say in hearing my situation, but telling me how I should present myself is the least helpful thing. Just say "sorry you are going through that" or "sending positive vibes your way" etc.
