BREAKING: In an insane moment, Ted Cruz admits out loud that Trump is going to use the shutdown to "get rid of left-wing bureaucrats" (right out of Project 2025), adding "I think that's fantastic." We think that's illegal.

The best watches are from Switzerland, the best clothing designs are from Italy, the best weapons from Germany, the best coffee from Central America and Africa, the best wine from France, the best chocolate from fuck knows where, avocados from Mexico, most reliable cars from Japan or South Korea. Coffee doesn’t even grow in the US. What’s wrong with competition? We have access to the best of theirs and they can buy the best of ours. Fuck that noise and go crawl back into that cave you call home. You can’t move forward if you’re always looking back. It’s not 1900 and never will be again.

If you don’t want to pay higher prices on tariffed goods, then buy American made products. Pretty simple.

Martial law in South Korea—and then not. What comes next? - The Economist. An ill sign for other democratic nations. If the U.S. can be in such disarray what is next in other countries? apple.news/AMzLPJ1AeS8e5y…

Hold the fuck on. So a whole bunch of Trump voters with preexisting conditions are now realizing that they voted to take their healthcare away, and a whole bunch of contractors are now realizing that they voted to take their construction workers away, and a whole bunch of farmers are now realizing they voted to take their farm workers away? Shit we ALL told them would happen but they voted for anyway. And NOW that they have ELECTED him, they’re freaking out because they finally understand?? Are you fucking kidding me?!?

Finally, let’s address this memory ish… I was just with the President a few hours ago… HIS memory is fine. He remembers that the world is whack without Roe. He remembers what Democracy is and won’t stand for Autocracy. He also remembers that even in a booming economy, people are still hurting and there is more work to do! And finally, he remembers his first wife and his current 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Donald Trump couldn’t remember who his own wife was during his trial for sexual assault.

Stop what you’re doing, and read this 1990 Vanity Fair article on Trump. If you’ve read it before, read it again. It’s all there in Trump’s own words…the serial-failures, the fraud, the mind-numbing ignorance, the ridiculous lies, the criminality, the fraudulent property valuations, the sociopathy, the corruption, the bullying, the misogyny, the abuse, the utter ineptitude…all of it. Yet here we are. The quote below is from the article and details the reactions of reporters back in 1990, having just watched Trump testify in court in one of the many lawsuits he was defending himself in at the time: “I wandered down to the pressroom on the fifth floor to hear about Trump's testimony. The reporters sounded weary; they had heard it all before. ''Goddamn it," one shouted at me, "we created him! We bought his bullshit! He was always a phony, and we filled our papers with him!"" This was 33 years ago. archive.vanityfair.com/article/share/…

I needed this story tonight! In one of the most notable moments in sports history, Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was just a few feet from the finish line, but became confused with the signage and stopped thinking he had completed the race. A Spanish athlete, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him, and after realizing what was happening, he started shouting at the Kenyan for him to continue running; but Mutai didn't understand his Spanish. Fernandez eventually caught up to him and instead of passing him, he pushed him to victory. A journalist asked Ivan, "Why did you do that?" Ivan replied, “My dream is that someday we can have a kind of community life where we push and help each other to win.” The journalist insisted “But why did you let the Kenyan win?" Ivan replied, "I didn't let him win, he was going to win.” The journalist insisted again, “But you could have won!”Ivan looked at him & replied, “But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honor of that medal? What would my Mom think of that?” Values are transmitted from generation to generation. What values are we teaching our children? Let us not teach our kids the wrong ways to WIN. 💙
