Another Sunday @thecagestrainingfacility working through my progressions with Coach Mike Flynn. We have two big games this week against some of the best teams in the state, Liberty and Willow Creek high school. We went 2-0 last week and are looking to continue that momentum this week. #govikings @PurdueSoftball @ArizonaSoftball @StanfordSball @HarvardSB, @mitsoftballtate

High school season officially kicked off on Monday and we opened with a huge upset win over Perry High School. It was our first victory over Perry since 2022, and after falling 16–6 to them last season, this one meant a lot to our program. I contributed with a home run and two runs scored, but this was truly a total team effort. Our seniors led the way, Sam Hyde went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and played clutch defense at second base, and Bryn Daley threw 7 strong innings, allowing 5 runs (4 earned) on just 5 hits. Wrapped up the fall season this past weekend with an awesome tournament in Phoenix. It was a lot of fun and a bit bittersweet as this was our last chance for all of us to play together since we are all headed off to high school ball and the seniors to college after that. Everyone played so well as we went on to win the bracket championship. I hit .583, a .667 OBP, with 3 home runs, 2 doubles, and 11 RBIs and was named tournament MVP. For the fall season I hit .509 with a .574 OBP, a 1.048 SLG, 7 home runs, 28 RBIs and only 5 strikeouts in 27 games.
