A great goal for elementary schools this fall is to include more recess during school and less homework after school. Let children run, play, and enjoy being kids! It's also how they learn.

I am all for vigor, hard work, etc. But what if we were to shift education from testing centered to student centered. Instead of tracking, labeling, & focus on weaknesses, what if we develop their strengths? Imagine every child labelled as excelling with their strengths/talents!
