💕LIFE UPDATE💕 So I’ve talked about this a bit on my streams but in case you’ve missed it, I’ll be officially starting a tattoo apprenticeship this weekend!! This has been something I’ve wanted to do for years now, but the timing and opportunities didn’t align with my schedule until now! I’m so so excited to finally be learning tattooing, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me! This in no way means I’ll stop streaming, I still very much plan to continue but will maybe be having less streams for a while as I get used to my new schedule. I plan to keep you all updated with my experience and progress, so look forward to those very soon! I’m so excited and thank you to all those who’ve already expressed their encouragement!

Have seen some disappointing takes in the space about this one, specifically with the "This isn't fair because *I* had to work so hard to get Affiliate and get these tools, therefore *everyone* should have to go through the same struggle as me." I think it is absolutely a GREAT thing to give people quality-of-life tools like channel points and emotes to non-Affiliates. These are some of the best ways to offer community interaction and advertisement, and may give non-Affiliates the extra edge they need to reach that next milestone. It absolutely does not take away from anyone's own journey, struggle, or accomplishments in getting Affiliate. HOWEVER The subs and bits thing is egregious. This feels like nothing more than a greedy pull by Twitch to continuously circulate bits within their own system, while simultaneously taking their cut AND not allowing the creator to actually be paid their dues while possibly being taxed on the "income". Rather than prioritizing how to maximize your profits while taking money out of creator's pockets, why don't you focus on ACTUAL fundamental QOL changes that would incentivize more people to utilize your platform and pay into the system?
