Hey, I recently made this small, low-poly retro biom game for a personal project. Wanted to share it. Scene is depicting landscape in the Slovakian nature around the 19th century :)

@MiskoSkele @gambargin I don’t care what other people draw, that’s their business and their business only. Sometimes I like seeing some angst on my feed. But you don’t gotta bring one thing down to prop up another one

People just like it when they are in ‘medieval armour’, and not when they go ‘medieval’.

@theywilljustdie @gambargin I never mentioned dark ages, but I get the idea what you meant. I meant the "brutal" part as an artist depicting such war with horrific/terrifying resemblance is heavily criticised cause not alot of people take it lightly, which as well, I agree with.

@MiskoSkele @gambargin nah, not very much brutal. and 'Dark Ages' is a Renaissance black myth. wars of Aniquity were more brutal. and real brutality start exactly in Renaissance and go worse and worse until modernity.

@Lazarus_Sparta @gambargin I worded it wrongly sure. But god forbid that other people also want to draw or write about such times and get shat on cause not everything has to be rainbow and sunshines. This kind of media is mega frown upon on its own lately, so yeah.

@BolainasB71297 @gambargin Oh of course don’t get me wrong, but then again this is also a part of that genre, historical or not. I do apologise as I worded it in a very bad way so.

@MiskoSkele @gambargin I doubt there are any times in which war wasn't brutal And to answer, it's simple, they like history in an abstract, and they like it with some humour to lighten up the punch It's like the difference between drinking an espresso and a latte, both still can say "I like coffee"
