"roll down a window" while so many filipinos are having a hard time, stuck in traffic, late for work. While so many jeepney and tricycle drivers are struggling to even afford enough gas for an entire day of transporting many people? Bickering, heat, traffic, hunger.
To think about it, you yourself is driving a car, a vehicle not many filipinos who are under the middle class can afford, and rely on pu lic transportation to get around. That itself is already your own privilege. What else? AC? 3 meals a day? Proper education?
You are a privileged person. Do you know what privileged means? Privilage means refers to an unearned advantage, right, or immunity granted to a particular person or group while being denied to others.
I just want to say, i am not fully educated on topics such as economics, i am still a student. But even someone with common sense is mindful NOT to pst something so insensitive.
I wanna chip in this topic. As a fellow makabayan, Loi, oil prices can be controlled. By higher ups who decide what prices will cost. Just the same as prices of food, clothing, and other needs. Yes, indeed WE, I, YOU cannot control it. But we can do something to change.
