@chribdotnet A lot of one pan pasta recipes are pretty good, and things you can bake all at once in the oven like chicken pot pie, lasagna etc. Curry dishes are also very easy. There's lots of recipes online for these. Also soup, so many soups.

About the StreamElements shutdown: I’m already exploring backup options and new platforms in case the rumors turn out to be true. Moving everything over won’t be quick, but I’ll start bringing back the most used widgets first so the impact is as small as possible! This is my full-time job. I’ve spent years building these widgets, so the idea of all that work going to waste is heartbreaking. I’m going to do everything I can to keep things alive and make the transition smooth 🫠 And if you have platform suggestions, I'm listening!

I designed this a long time ago in hopes one day we'd build our own widget platform! But it ended up fading away. We then made it for personal use so we can quickly test things locally without SE. It's all front end for now though, but could be a start! Some parts are still a bit scuffed because it was just for of our own testing purposes, but I'd improve the UI and user experience if we were to make it public one day. We are exploring options on how to even make this possible but we're doing our best to find solutions, even if it's not this 💜

fun fact for streamers/vtubers: firefox can now doxx your location down to the zipcode if you google almost anything with it. just a fun little tip. can't really turn it off either from what i can see

@InVainYT Well there's a difference in sticking around to lure a kid vs treating them to something they clearly wanted and then leaving immediately after while being kind with your words. If they don't understand that, it's not your problem.

I need your opinion. I went to the convinience store to get a late night snack. As I enter, it's completely empty with the exception of a kid running between the various freezers, looking at all the ice-cream choices. I grab a drink, a snack and by the time I hit the freezer aisle, the kid is still looking longingly at all the ice-cream choices. I thought their parents might be there but it was just them the whole time. So I slide open the freezer, grab an ice-cream and at the same time ask him "would you like me to buy you one?" He nods and smiles, and grabs one that he's clearly been wanting and then I go to the counter and pay. A younger me would have loved if someone offered to buy me an ice-cream in that sort of scenario, so I felt nice to be able to do that small gesture so I left feeling pretty happy with myself. I walked back home and continued hanging with relatives and told my cousins and uncle the story. And that's when one of them told me that I shouldn't do that because the kid and staff probably thought I was the Diddler trying to kidnap the kid. So idk 😐

@Fuululuu Say it with me fellas: "tracing is one of many techniques in art creation" I literally used TRACING PAPER in art school to do various projects and make sure my line art was clean before going to color (using a light box+tracing paper under your final paper to trace the sketch)

.... huh??? Literal professional freelance and industry artists use 3D models.. are we so serious right now?? I'll never understand the animosity towards artists that use legitimate tools. This is not doing the work for you, you still need to have a basic understanding of perspective, how to draw hair, clothing, etc. It still takes the same amount of work but with visual assistance. Can we get with it, art community? Seriously, it's been decades.
