@alanphillips133 I’m sick of this excuse. If public schools want to attract students, they can with CTE programs. The opportunity is there - districts have to embrace competition and try to win.

Moses Brown provides an educational experience that, IMO, cannot be matched. Team that with a coach with ties to the city who understands what it takes to play D-I, I feel plenty of kids will jump at the opportunity to further their lives. But Perry NEEDS support.

@brockgolfer @EricRueb @alanphillips133 The high school has to go out and politic for facility upgrades and fund raise. Like all towns. may be better at it,but not easy. The sports are totally integrated to the youth level. CTE programs are just part of the success. Taking how many kids from towns that actually play?

@brockgolfer @EricRueb @alanphillips133 North is the closest town in south county by far to providence, makes a difference. Look at Cranston East and EP in the past with same success. Demographics has a lot to do with it. Where people live at that time. The high school facilities and programs are like a small college.

Keith Kenyon and dick fossa were big thinkers and doers. Kids were going to Coventry for classes 5:30 in AM? The cte programs were kind of a normal evolution?
